Celestia PLEASE Kill Me!
That’s what I was doing a week ago yesterday. Saturday night I was begging Tale Weaver to take me out to the back of the castle and end me. The reason was because my lower back had gone into a crisis mode and I was in such agony that if it hadn’t been for the miracle of modern-day anti-inflammatories (Ibuprofen) and ice packs, I would have ended up in the hospital. Those two things in combination work REAL FAST as that is the only reason I can sit at the computer for half an hour and type this damn State of the Empire message in the first place. I have ONE WEEK to get my back’s collective shit together and get it into shape for…
YES! Our big-ass, once-a-year convention-to-end-all-Doctor-Who-conventions is fast approaching. I am hunting down content to schedule for the website during this mega event because I am completely abandoning the Kingdom and the website for a weekend BECAUSE the special guest star this year is the God of Showrunners for Doctor Who…
In case you hate Doctor Who or have been a fan living under a rock, THIS is who Steve Moffat is:
“Emmy, BAFTA and Hugo Award winner Steven Moffat has served as Doctor Who’s executive producer, principal writer and showrunner for the past six seasons. He’s been responsible for the creation of the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors, and the casting of both lead actors, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi; has written over forty teleplays for the series since it returned in 2005; and is responsible for some of the show’s most memorable characters, aliens and villains. Moffat’s previous television work includes creating the series Press Gang and Coupling, as well as co-creating the popular Sherlock with Mark Gatiss, and penning the script for the 1999 Doctor Who/Comic Relief charity special, “The Curse of Fatal Death”.”
To say we are EXCITED in the Crystal Empire Castle right now is the understatement of all time (in ALL timezones).
Other mega guests coming this year are Sylvester McCoy (the 7th Doctor) and our personal favorite because we are such music whores, the incomparable music composer Murray Gold. Again, for those under those Celestia-cursed rocks, Murray Gold is:
“…the five-time BAFTA Award nominated musician who has been the composer for Doctor Who since it returned to the airwaves in 2005.”
His music is SO IMPORTANT to me writing as passionately as I do and advancing so fast in MLP fandom, I installed music-embedding code in this website to accompany my stories and the first piece of his I fell so insanely in love with is going to be the launch piece for this brand new story when it launches later this year:
That’ll do it for this week’s update to the masses. Gotta go run and find my fez, sonic screwdriver and pony ears…
Remember to always,
Hail King Sombra!
